Christina Hough
Clinical Research Coordinator (2013-2017)

Christina was the Project Manager of the Cellular Aging and Neurobiology of Depression (CAN-D) Study. Christina graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2013. She has been working in psychiatric research at UCSF since early 2012 and has been with the PNE Lab since 2013.

Christina's research interests are in determining markers of illness trajectory within mood disorders. This includes determining and studying neural, cognitive, and peripheral (e.g. immune and hormonal) correlates and predictors of disease development, course, and symptomatology, along with a particular interest in treatment response. It is her hope that this work may facilitate the development and improvement of mechanistically-based risk factors, treatments, and other intervention strategies. Christina continues to collaborate with the PNE lab while pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
