Michelle Coy, M.S.W.
Clinical Research Coordinator (2009-2016)

Michelle joined the PNE Lab in 2009 as its first coordinator for the PTSD study. During her time as coordinator, the original PTSD study grew to include three more PTSD studies; a handful of papers were published; and PNE's collaboration with the Systems Biology for PTSD consortium flourished. In 2016, Michelle graduated from San Jose State University with a Master in Social Work and took the next step in her career, expanding her clinical experience. She now works for Sutter Health as an individual and group therapist in their psychiatric inpatient unit, primarily offering Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills training. Michelle is currently working on her hours for licensure, and also hopes to become a DBT Certified Therapist.
